Games Today

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

Online games are games played over some form of computer network. At the present, this almost always means the Internet or equivalent technology; but games have always used whatever technology was current: modems before the internet, and hard wired terminals before modems. Online games can vary from simple text based games to games incorporating complex graphics and virtual worlds populated by many players simultaneously. Many online games have associated online communities, making online games a form of social activity beyond single player games (mostly Free Online Games create these online communities).

Some people though still favor single player games, like Card Games of poker and other casino online games. These sorts of games are more often than not favored by aged people rather than teenagers and young people. Racing Games on the other hand are mostly played by young people in certain websites like Online-Games-Zone.com, these games are preferred by the later generation for they give excitement to them. Online games are said to be disadvantageous for they are addicting (especially to the young), they become habits rather than hobbies. There are a lot known advantages or benefits given by these games as well; they enhance the player’s memory, virtual perception, imagination and rationalization.

Daddy Day Camp

Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

Daddy Day Camp was not the best movie that I’ve ever seen but I still liked it. I’m actually a bit disappointed that it was the third worst movie of this year.

It’s never a good sign when Eddie Murphy turns down a sequel to one of his own movies. Even the “dream team” of first-time director Fred Savage (yes, Kevin from ‘The Wonder Years’) and star Cuba Gooding, Jr. (yes, the man who thought ‘Chill Factor’ was a good idea) couldn’t save this cinematic turd.

Fun and Serious Matters

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

My aunt asked me a favor to accompany her to Nevada for two reasons - to have fun and take care of a serious matter. First, we will take to someone who is going to introduce her to highly qualified and reputable Nevada living trusts. My aunt has some properties in Nevada and she wants someone to manage them for her. My aunt has evaluated the difference between a last will and a living trust and it seems that living trusts got the upper hand.

After taking care of my aunt’s estate plans, we are going to visit Las Vegas and have some fun. I’m not sure if we are actually going to go into a casino but that would be great. My aunt should pay for my games of course. Anyway, this is going to be my first time to go into a casino and playing in a slot machine would probably already be great for me. Our flight to Nevada is scheduled a week after New Year and we are both excited and often talks about it. Too bad it will just be the two of us because it could be more fun if there are more people who can join us.
